Job Description:

At Acceptd, our purpose is to help people in the arts community flourish. We do this by connecting artists with opportunities and communities that matter most to them. Our goal is to be the #1 centralized resource for the arts industry. In pursuit of this, we have helped nearly 400,000 artists follow their calling by creating a web service that helps them identify, apply, and get accepted to the arts programs of their dreams. We partner with thousands of leading music, dance, theatre, and visual arts programs where artists have great opportunities to apply to—from world-renowned conservatories and universities to festivals, competitions, workshops, and young artist programs.

We are seeking a Support Manager to oversee our technical support team and help us build and maintain meaningful relationships with our network of artists.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Serve applicants as a technical liaison for Acceptd.
-Manage a team of 3-5 part-time technical support representatives, ensuring customer service is timely and accurate on a daily basis.
-Oversee the processes for email, chat, and phone support and continually work to improve and streamline efficiency.
-Establish best practices through the entire technical support process.
-Create support experiences that blow our users away.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-3-5 years of account management or technical support management preferred
-Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
-Efficiency in both creative and administrative tasks
-Collaborative nature
-Entrepreneurial, “get ‘r done” attitude
-Thrives in a fast-paced environment
-Tech-savvy, detail-oriented and driven to meet aggressive goals
-Doesn’t get flustered easily, learns quickly, and volunteers for new challenges
