Every week, Platform Beer Co. teams up with a different local organization for their Non-Profit Tuesday program, giving a portion of their nightly sales to each partner. For this week’s edition of the event, the brewery will be donating $1 from every beer sold to RivALZ, an all-women’s group that raises funds through athletics to benefit the care, support, and research efforts of the Central Ohio Alzheimer’s Association.

Help Columbus Gives Back cook with families at the Broad Street Food Pantry

Social volunteer group Columbus Gives Back is heading to the Broad Street Food Pantry on Thursday to assist students of the facility’s Achievement Program for a Make & Take meal night. During this activity, volunteers will take over the kitchen to teach children & families cooking skills as they prepare meals that can be taken home, frozen, and eaten at a later time. As with all their events, CGB will include a #socialtwist with this volunteer opportunity by heading out as a group for food/drinks and socializing after their service.

Garden during Mulch Madness at Topiary Park

Compete in a pinball tournament to bring games to hospitalized children

Arcade Super Awesome will be hosting their monthly pinball tournament again this Saturday, with a portion of proceeds going to a good cause. Players in this event will be sorted into small groups and assigned different machines, being eliminated by lowest scores on a 3-strikes basis. A portion of funds raised from entry fees will benefit Project Pinball, a nonprofit that places pinball machines in children’s hospitals and Ronald McDonald Houses across the country.
