Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program
The Long-Term Care Ombudsman advocates for people receiving home care, assisted living and nursing home care. Ombudsman volunteers provide a voice for long-term care residents. Volunteers visit residents, observe conditions and care, and inform residents about their rights. Volunteers work with staff to investigate and resolve resident complaints. The organization also offers internship opportunities for students.
