RivALZ Columbus

RivALZ team

RivALZ Columbus is an annual charity flag football game where two teams of women face off to inspire action, awareness and fundraising in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease. All funds raised go directly to the research, support and efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association, Central Ohio Chapter. RivALZ Columbus continues to engage the community, raising over $297,000 to date. Our dedicated players, coaches, and volunteers are working hard to continue this momentum holding charity happy hours, volunteering at assisted living and working to be the brains behind saving yours.

Although the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has intercepted our plans for a regular spring season, the rivalry is still in play. Until we can be back on the field together safely, tap into your winning spirit and join us for the RivALZ Spring Challenge, a fundraising competition between teams across the country.

Every dollar you raise through the RivALZ Spring Challenge allows the Alzheimer’s Association® to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research. Families facing Alzheimer’s and all other dementia need us now more than ever — and with your help, we can be there for them.

Mission:

We are also committed to advocating for the needs and rights of those facing Alzheimer’s disease and advancing critical research toward methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure.
