Robbie Banks is Columbus’ Ambassador in Chief

Robbie Banks loves German Village, the Scioto Mile and Franklin Park Conservatory. Given the chance, she shares her favorite spots in the city through her true passions: “Columbus, my work, family and friends.”

Her passions tie-in with all of the organizations she is proud to represent, including I Know I Can, Project Mentor – Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Keep Columbus Beautiful’s KICKBUTT Columbus!

Robbie is well on her way to achieving her goal to “help promote the city I love to the world” through her work with Experience Columbus. “I have the awesome opportunity to help train and certify Certified Tourism Ambassadors, or CTAs, through the Greater Columbus Tourism Ambassador Program. As a result, I am able to interact with people at all levels in our area and learn something valuable from each of them.”

Challenges are presented in multiple forms. “My biggest challenge is aligning the entire community—from front line employees to CEOs—to understand that it is their responsibility to help create a positive, memorable experience for visitors at every touch point. They are the ColumbUS brand.”

You can find Robbie “aligning the community” through her networks of CTAs as well as graduates of Franklin University, Bishop Ready High School and Corpus Christi/St. Ladislas Schools.  Just ask her and Robbie is happy to help you get connected to all the great things that make Columbus unique!
