Name: Stephanie Maupin
Age: 35
Profession: Director, Operational Excellence at Event Marketing Strategies
Neighborhood: Dublin
Hometown: Cincinnati
Hobbies: I love to travel, fitness and sports – CBJ hockey is my jam. In my free time I like to read and learn about health, wellness and health sciences I am also passionate about empowering women and I am very involved in W.E.L.D.
Most people would be surprised to know that I… am a former professional snow shoveler. I skated on the Ice Crew for the Columbus Blue Jackets for three years!
I’m looking for ___________ in a significant other: Key qualities such as honesty, respect and humility in a significant other… athleticism and decisiveness wouldn’t hurt either. 😉
The perfect date for me includes: I’m always up for an activity such as hiking, going to a wine tasting or trying something new. It feels like a more genuine way to get to know someone better.
The most embarrassing thing I’ve ever done on a date: I’m sure I’ve embarrassed myself more than a time or two. I’m a goofball so I do weird things to get a laugh.
Best place to go on a first date in Columbus: You can’t go wrong with Top Golf!
Best place to go for drinks in Columbus: Tucci’s hands down has the best patio, live music and atmosphere for drinks. A close second would be Juniper – best view of Columbus.
Words to live by: Maybe it’s my upbringing in sports, but one of my go-to mottos for life is that “I’d rather be in the game than on the sidelines.”
If someone were to ask you what the “pulse” of Columbus is, what would you tell them? I love this city! Columbus to me is collaboration, growth and opportunity.
