Whitehall

Directly east of Bexley sits the quaint city of Whitehall. Back in the 19th century, this neighborhood was a stop for stagecoaches traveling along the National Road. The small village grew exponentially in the 1950s and is now known for its 160 acres of parks including John Bishop Park and Whitehall Community Park.

Less than two miles away is the Indian Mound Reserve with beautiful waterfalls and plenty of additional walking paths to enjoy the natural beauty of the area.

For good eats in Whitehall, families can enjoy the famed Massey’s Pizza, as well as Flavor 91 Bistro, The Top Steak House, Johnson’s Real Ice Cream and Tacos Fogoncitos.

Can’t miss events include Music in the Park, the Independence Day Carnival, and the annual Food Truck Festival.
