Bring a children’s book or two (new or very gently used) to donate to United Way partner agencies that serve youth in central Ohio. Guests will enjoy a reception with delicious brews and giveaways while personalizing the book donations alongside fellow young professionals.

Join Columbus Gives Back for their February Philanthropic Happy Hour at the brand new North Parsons Brewing Company on the up and coming Parson’s Avenue! Their featured nonprofit this month will be the beloved Heinzerling Community! Over the past 50 years, the Heinzerling Community has cared for hundreds of children and adults with severe and profound developmental disabilities, creating a legacy of caring. CGB enjoys volunteering every 3rd Wednesday of each month at Heinzerling!

Choice Pantries Volunteer

Salvation Army

The Salvation Army operates food pantries which use the “Client Choice” food pantry model. This model allows clients to choose the food items their families most need and enjoy, rather than receiving a prepared box of food. Volunteers are needed to help out in the pantries for various shifts on weekdays. These volunteers will help operate the pantry, stock shelves, and assist clients.

Lead a Dance for Individuals with Disabilities

Let’s tear up the dance floor! Team up with Franklin County Recreation again to help with their monthly dance for individuals with disabilities! Volunteers will dance and socialize, help with set up and tear down, and serve refreshments. This will be a great interactive event to help our neighbors with disabilities have a fun evening out!

This event is a bowling fundraiser at Columbus Square Bowling Palace! Organizations/individuals are tasked with creating bowling teams to raise money each hour. The goal of the fundraiser this year is to raise $475,000.

Arnold Kids Expo! Volunteer in ECRN+ Sensory Area

Ohio Expo Center & State Fair – Bricker Multi-Purpose Building

The YMCA – Early Childhood Resource Network+ (ECRN+) is participating in the Arnold Kids & Teen Expo on March 2nd & 3rd. Columbus Gives Back invites you to volunteer with them in their sensory area! The sensory area is a calming space for children and teens. Parents may not leave children unsupervised. Volunteers will monitor space, interact/play with kids, and ensure proper use of equipment.
