The Kitchen is known for going beyond the typical restaurant experience, hosting a plethora of immersive cooking & dining events throughout the year. Each week, the location hosts a Taco Tuesday dinner, often in partnership with a local organization or nonprofit. This week, the Kitchen will be donating 10% of all food & drink purchases during Taco Tuesday to Opera Columbus & their mission to enrich the community through the arts.

19th century cathedral-turned-concert-hall The Bluestone will serve as venue for the Children’s Hunger Alliance’s annual Taste to Remember Event, returning this Thursday evening for its 16th year. This foodie-friendly celebration will feature live music, auctions, and bites & drinks from 20 local restaurants including Cameron Mitchell favorites, Melt Bar & Grilled, Thurber’s, and more. Proceeds will help provide nutritious meals to local kids facing food insecurity.

Ticket sales will benefit WHEP’s mission to empower & educate underprivileged women to raise happy, healthy babies.

Volunteer at the Furniture Bank of Central Ohio’s 2018 Bed Race

It’s time again for the comfiest charity dash of the year as the Furniture Bank of Central Ohio hosts its annual Bed Race at the Hollywood Casino this Saturday. During the event, teams dress up in costume and race their own decorated bed-shaped carts in efforts to raise funds for the Bank, which provides furniture to families in need. Although registrations for the race are closed, volunteers are still needed for tasks like set up/tear down, check-in, and bed transportation.
