Bethany Cramer, 30, sees the world from two vantage points with her bright eyes and creative heart: She sees both the art and the beauty it creates, as well as the value of the analytical logistics it takes to bring that beauty to the world through her job as Marketing Director for Zipline Logistics.
“Working in the transportation industry is surprisingly fun,” said the Grandview Heights resident, who also volunteers with the Columbus Museum of Art on its Wonderball planning committee. “I am responsible for identifying the most effective avenues to showcase Zipline Logistics’ services, expertise, and story to help grow the business. This mainly includes tradeshow strategy, our online presence, content development, and media relations. I work with local partners whenever possible and enjoy showcasing Zipline’s unique culture.”
That’s in her business life. But in her personal life, Cramer – who was born in Pittsburgh but grew up in New York before moving to Columbus seven years ago – is a huge supporter of the arts community and often spends time at the Columbus Idea Foundry or working on the Wonderball committee.
“The entire event is geared at sparking wonder and encouraging creativity among guests,” said Cramer, who graduated from SUNY Geneseo with a Business Administration and Economics degree. “This is a passion of mine…I love volunteering my time with an organization that promotes inclusion and free thinking. Donating my time and skills to such a positive cause is truly an honor.”
When she’s not volunteering or working, Cramer is a fan of hiking the many trails in Columbus. She also enjoys sampling food and drinks with her fiancé in the Short North or exploring their Grandview Heights neighborhood.
“I love the proximity to downtown Columbus and the eclectic mix of residential and commercial,” said Cramer. “Grandview is family-oriented while still providing a ton of options for restaurants and shopping.”
Cramer said she “can’t just pick one!” of her favorite places to eat but admitted Palle by Moretti, Spagio Wine Bar, and Barrel on High are all some of her go-to spots.
