Ohio Avenue Youth Center
Columbus Gives Back is looking for people to volunteer with them and Directions for Youth & Families to help with preparations for their State of the Child Luncheon! This is their signature event where people come together as a community to recognize “the state of the child” in central Ohio. The luncheon is one-of-a-kind unique because of the music and dance performances enthusiastically presented by youth in the DFYF after-school programs.

Pictionary, Uno, Apples to Apples, Euchre and more! Snacks and drinks will be provided. Join Columbus Gives Back for a Game Night with the residents of the YMCA Supportive Housing Unit. Volunteering has never been easier! This event is one where we are able to have hands on interactions with those in need. The men at the shelter look forward to game night and are always appreciative of our time.

New Salem Missionary Baptist Church
Volunteers are the front-line folks at Bread of Life. Volunteers who are friendly, patient, helpful, and efficient are needed to interact with clients and escort them through the pantry. Runners will monitor clients selections and inform them about various food options, based on pantry rules. These volunteers are also expected to help clients hold their food bags while they are picking out groceries.

See Kids Dream will be hosting Project SKD “Everyone Deserves Peace of Mind” on Saturday, February 16th. Families will be creating gratitude kits to donate to those in our community who are struggling with mental health.
