This meal is a come one, come all family style dinner that is free to anyone in the community. Every Tuesday, people come together to enjoy something different from the South Side Roots kitchen or enjoy meals provided by a local caterer. You might be doing a little bit of everything including serving guests their dinner and beverage, engaging in light conversation with guests, sweeping floors and cleaning off tables, or helping to wash dishes.

Princess Night outreach is working to break the cycle of sex trafficking one woman at a time. Princess Night volunteers share a message of God’s love, hope, and restoration with these misused and hard-to-reach women. Volunteers go to areas of street prostitution to pray and hand out roses and handwritten cards of encouragement and Scripture in hopes of building relationship and help women be rescued.

Columbus Gives Back invites you to join Community Refugee & Immigration Services (CRIS) for one of the coolest community projects you can find. After a spectacular experience painting in Wedgewood Middle School, Eakin Elementary, and Columbus Global Academy, CRIS will work with staff and students from Gables and volunteers like you to transform their cafeteria with a beautiful alligator-themed mural (a baby alligator is their mascot) designed with input from the students themselves to help make the school feel like their own.
