Italian Village

Nestled in the downtown area just east of the Short North is the lively neighborhood for residents and businesses known as Italian Village. The area was one of Columbus’ first suburbs, annexed to the city of Columbus in 1862.

The Market Italian Village is just one of many good eats in this highly social media friendly neighborhood of rustic-meets-modern establishments that offer delicious food and trendy atmospheres for business lunches or first dates.

Want a great cup of coffee? Head to Fox in the Snow, a former garage-turned-restaurant that rivals any coffee shop in tasty treats and good vibes. Feel like a cold brew instead? Walk yourself over to Seventh Son Brewery or Hoof Hearted Brewery & Kitchen for a hops confection served with a side of savory meals. Other notable neighborhood hotspots include GoreMade Pizza, Drunch, and City Tavern.

Once you’re done eating, rent a bike and tour the historic architecture of the area before hitting the Italian Village Park. After you tune into nature, hit STUMP and purchase one of the rare plants or succulents this unique shop offers. You’ll be glad you picked up some greenery for your new pad!
