Sarah Todd is an independent working artist, a Glass Axis instructor in hot and fused glass, an instructor in hot glass at Franklin Park Conservatory and serves on the Glass Axis staff as a studio technician.
For the month of December, one of the Short North Arts District’s oldest galleries, Sherrie Gallerie, will exhibit its annual small works show, this year focusing on wearable art. Gallerist Sherrie Hawk challenged her artists to think inside the box – the jewelry box, that is, to create small works in the form of wearable art.
Actors Michael Kelly and Blythe Gaissert are visiting Columbus from New York City to star in Opera Columbus' production "As One," which features a story about Hannah, a transgender woman. "Her transition is at the heart of As One, but more than that it’s a story of self discovery and acceptance," says Kelly.
High school students, Maria Dalanno and Meredith Hanosek are currently performing in Columbus Children’s Theatre’s and Short North Stage’s production of West Side Story, running through Nov. 17. We chatted with them about their background and inspirations, and about their roles in the show.
